Can't get beyond press any key

It’s probably a case of waiting for the update/patch, but updating Windows to 2004 might be worth a try (which is recommended by MS)
The minimum requirements call for Win10 “1909”
& it looks like you are using the 1904 release.

If automatic updates haven’t updated it, do a google search for “Windows 10 update assistant” & download it from the MS site.
That will update your Win10 to the latest (2004)

ps: I personally have never had any server issues

Regards
Steve

Thanks paub1912,
I tend to agree with you.

Mate I have tried every day since it came out. I will await a week or so more.

I had this happened to me. Can you check the Xbox app and make sure you are logged into your profile?

Once I did that, it worked. I hope it doesn’t crash on you post that.

Yes, I did. I crashes wile trying to load. And at the same time every time - about 5 sec. after change of scenery.

Have tried now mate? I got it downloaded and installed. Now I get CTD after certain amount of time but I think that is more my pc. May need new CPU fan.

So far I got to successful flights (about 10%). It crashes at the blue progress bar most of the time.
Today I went trough all configurations, pressed FLY, - crash!
But in those two times - it worked OK. Very smooth graphics. No problems.

Ok. So I was getting crashes and I went into settings found all my tmp files deleted all and so far I have managed to not only fly for a hour or so but also record it..

Hope this helps mate

Where are these tmp files located?
MS hided the game really well.

As above.. I also disabled vsync within Sim..

Didn’t work for me…
It is getting ridiculous.

I’m confused.
What version 2004?
Where is update is optional?

Thank you.
In a couple of times when I was able to get through to the game it plays quite well - good frame rate, very smooth graphics with my settings as “medium”.
And this inconsistency bothers me. If it would be underrated card, then it wouldn’t let me get to the game ever, or would play with all sorts of problems - low frame rate, poor graphics etc.
In my case, it is very difficult to get through, but as soon I’m there, everything is fine.
My success rate is about 20%.

It was after updates.
How can I change settings without getting in the game?
