Can't log in to devsupport forum account

As suggested in the pinned About SDK category I tried to create an account on https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/

I did go through a signup process, to use and email, but now I am stuck so each time I try to log on I get stuck on this screen:

Clicking the X-Box Live button just loops me back to the same page. TBH I’m not sure I have an X-Box Live account. I certainly don’t have an X-Box.

I have never received the “activation email” and I can’t find the “forgot password link”.
