Can't log in to MSFS site

I’m able to log in to this forum, but when I go to the MSFS website, and try to click “Login”, it doesn’t even let me put in a username / password.
I just get this message at the top

and it goes back to the guest screen.
I’d like to make a purchase from the game and there is no way for me to do this. I thought if I could log in to the main website I could set up an account or something.

Any ideas?

Go to login.live.com – if you’re logged on there with a Microsoft account, log out. The page will refresh and go to the generic welcome page. Click the button to log back on; enter your credentials at the prompts and you’ll be taken back to your account page.

Now close any flightsimulator.com tab(s) and open a new one. Try logging on again – if all went well, it should work.
