Brief description of the issue:
Opened FS2020 after a month layoff, and installed the update. Opened a flight, but I can’t take off! Engine accelerates, but then dies well short of rotation speed. Checked my joystick settings and they are normal. Then I discovered that F5 has no effect, either. Appears true of all aircraft.

Did you restart msfs after update, do you have any mods installed, did you remove everything from the community folder and check again, did you check all your other settings?

I have never restarted after an update. But I shut down last night, and restarted this evening. It’s better! But axis was reversed, somehow. I’m working with it.

I have lots of mods. This has never been an issue for me before. What I can do is remove the Community folder and insert an empty dummy, restart, and if all goes well, reinstall the original Community folder. This has never before been a problem, and I doubt it is the source of my current problem. But I’m better off tonight and will continue to mess with it.

Thank you for your prompt response.
