Can't select custom community folder REX Accuseason

I have MSFS installed in a separate directory, and when I attempt to install REX Accuseason and point to the custom community folder, these are the only selections I have.

Haven’t seen that, I can navigate without issue to select the custom location.

Have you tried rebooting? Or re-installing?

Running / installing as Administrator?

I have tried everything. Nothing works

As a workaround.

What happens if you place a shortcut to your community folder on your desktop.

Will it see that ?

No. Those are the only folders that show up. Shortcuts don’t work. I can’t even select a drive.

Right-click the executable and choose Run as Administrator

That doesn’t work. I even deleted the registry files and reinstalled. I emailed tech support

Problem fixed! I resynced my onedrive and I was able to select my community folder.

Good call.

I remember seeing something on their Discord about OneDrive and issues.

I have the same issue, can you give more details on what you did with OneDrive?

It is a bug in some of REX installers that they are blaming on Window 11 / OneDrive. Started after a Windows System Update back in October and the REX guys refuse to fix it. They keep blaming OneDrive and have proposed a silly workaround using a symbolic link. There is another thread mentioning this here and on Discord.

I tried to work it through with them a couple of months ago but lost my patience and gave up. They are knowingly selling a product they know has compatibility issues with the current version of Windows. Shame on them.
