It still apparently impossible to turn off HDR, because the setting in the grapichs menu is greyed out (see image).
P.S. the option in the Windows settings is already turned off (see image).
I think it being greyed out means it’s already off.
I don’t think it is, because sometimes the cockpit screen and the cloud reflects too much light, to the point that i can’t see much.
That can easily happen without HDR.
what AA setting are you on? If you’re on FXAA try TAA.
I’m running a 1080ti with High setting TAA and 100% render scaling. My monitor doesn’t have HDR.
If your monitor doesn’t have HDR, you can’t turn it on. It’s most likely another setting creating the effect for you. Maybe ‘bloom’?
That’s because you don’t have HDR
It doesn’t matter what the UI is telling you; if your monitor can’t support it, you don’t have it.
Thank you i’ll try to turn it off
HDR10 is grayed out if not supported.
That does not mean normal HDR is generally off.
But if your monitor don’t support HDR it’s all clear.
If you spread over the NVCP none HDR up to 12BIT
RGB 4-2-2. It could get also very bright without HDR.
There is definitely a bug in the user.cfg regarding HDR10 set to 1 and in the UI it is greyed out.
Yep, for non-HDR monitors they should fixed the UI to say OFF and still be greyed out.
So this is surely a minor bug that creates a lot of confusion.
