Cape Town Airport FACT, inside buildings not modelled at all

Cape Town airport not modelled. I can walk through walls and the inside is nothing like the outside in that from inside it is hollow and see through and the same wall and door changes on the outside to a solid one.

Why are only American and European airports correctly modelled?

By that statement you mean “inside airport buildings” right ?, the airport itself is modelled.

Yes, correct, its like walking in a vacuum. Just a niggle of mine to try to understand how a wall on the outside can look normal but viewed from inside the same wall is transparent!
But I am also trying to highlight the fact that Africa is largely ignored in terms of good airfields/airports and infrastructure. I am sure there are customers there who equally wish to have good flying experiences in their local areas/cities/towns.

This is exactly how all video games are modelled. There’s no point wasting resources modelling areas you’re not intended to go or surfaces you’re not supposed to see.

Dunno why you have this idea of bias. I just checked Heathrow and JFK which are both made in exactly the same way. If you’ve seen more detailed interiors, are they stock or add-ons?

This isn’t surprising. Many airports across the globe don’t have interior modeling unless you pay for it by purchasing 3rd party airports.

Well what is the walk around mode for then? Just to peak at some animal in a bush or tree. I like architecture and would like to see airport interiors without having to pay extra for it. We want WU where we find it so important to model towns and cities for the buildings and architecture - this is the environment most of us grow up in. Walk around mode was given to us to explore - that is exactly what I and others, I am sure, would like to do.

Closed since buildings interiors are not part of handcrafted airport scope. Please feel free to create a wish for that enhancement request.
Thank you !
