Aloha, Flight Simmers

An Invitation: Here’s a place to tell a story of you favorite flights from cold and dark to engine quit. Tell us what perked up the flight (add-ons, successful use of what works in the sim and workarounds of it’s issues, discoveries, nostalgia, etc.)

Use your favorite method of still capture (x-box bar, greenshot, etc) or film (Shadowplay, whathave you). Mind the file size limits.

Here’s one of my recent ones. I left my usual stomping grounds and home, California, and went to see how Tahiti worked in the sim. I was not disappointed. NTAA - NTMN. I enjoyed the challenge at Atuona as it’s on a bluff, short and angled up, unlike Fa’a’a which is safely level and long.

Now, if someone would make some Tahiti liveries for the Kingair and the 208

Went off to Catalina with the the OZx team’s Grumman Goose. First effort was great, but I did not mind something and “crashed”, though I can’t figure out why. This time, I raised the flaps after watching someone’s video as well as reducing the props to almost cut-off. She came to a love halt.

Not real excited about the glassy ocean as I got near the island. Water looked great when I slowed down an stopped.
Kudos to Jan Kees Blom for his liveries and Josue Mejia for his KAVX and Avalon Bay scenery.
Cheers!
