I contacted the vender, it’s not there issue you updated the sim and it changed the radio setting and effected all products by Caranado that carries garman 430

Radios work for me in the V35 and skymaster.

Unfortunately, its up to ALL 3PDs to fix their products, when Asobo makes changes in MSFS, that causes a 3PD’s Plane to malfunction.

Such is the JOY of being a MSFS developer. :scream:

The JOY of a Pilot who has purchased a 3PD’s product, is when that developer quickly and efficiently fixes those issue, in a timely manner. :+1:

Unfortunately, ongoing product support has never been Carenado’s thing. They have very much had a “One and done” mentality, so the concept of requiring continuous support throughout a product’s lifetime will take some time for them get to grips with.

Of course they do, that is because they were a cooperative development between Caranado and MSFS.

You listed the Skymaster as one of the aircraft that has inop radios?

The Skymaster isn’t an MS Commissioned airplane, the V35 is.

you can talk on them but the digits don’t show on the radio panel and nothing shows on the 530 garmin, they did a mod on the radios last upgrade. Let me ask you this, if asobo aircraft were the only aircraft you could fly on this sim and another sim offered all your favorite airplanes, would you buy the other flight sim. I like choices, they should work harder at devolope a whole spectrom of planes instead of trying to make the perfect enviroment.

Very good, did you know the V35 was a cooperative development between Caranado and Microsoft? so why don’t they ask if they want to convert these to MS commissioned planes or refuse to sell them on there web site if there broken.

I did - that’s why I made the comment, the V35 is MS Commissioned.

MS won’t commission those other planes because they weren’t selected for Famous Flyer or Local Legend status.

Many would say the opposite –

ie Asobo should concentrate on making the perfect BASE environment in which other developers can build the planes and other detailed object, like airports & cities.

well I will just continue using the other planes and won’t be buying anything from anyone.

Maybe, I noticed they have been having a lot of sales, I think that says something about what’s going on. People are loosing interest and they aren’t buying. I know I have?

To me, it’s pretty inexcusable (and totally embarrassing) to release a plane where the radios do not work !!

But as long as the Doors & Windows open, many seem to be more than content (sigh)
