Career - Cannot Create Company

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Level 91 with over $500,000 in credits but I cannot create a company. It’s greyed out and says company not available. I’ve done most certifications and completed most specialization missions and can fly them without a problem but I can never get the option to start a company regardless of how long I play in a single session.

The create a company button is completed greyed out and unusable. Also every time I start the game and hit career mode it moves me from the office to the couch like I’m just starting career for the firs time. I do one mission and it puts be back in the office but my guy is glitched out and stands at the desk instead of sitting.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Yes, no mods or addons added.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? It occurs every time I play, Career mode is useless to me at this point because I just want to start a company and do my own thing but forced to take missions for trash money.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start game, hit career mode
  2. Loads up, career mode greyed out and “Not Available” also player NPC is sitting on the couch even though I finished in the office.
  3. Play for a couple hours, move up to the office after one mission, NPC bugs out and remains standing. No matter how many missions I do or hours the flight is, I never get the prompt to create a company.

I’ve completed all the star missions that are relevant to the specializations that I have unlocked (gold missions on the world map). I was never prompted at any point to buy a company unfortunately.

Sorry to ask but have you done the STAR (or special mission - they are normally larger icons in GOLD) missions in employee? You are also right, I was prompted to see if I wanted to buy my first company as you get a special deal on your first plane which is normally a used one and you need to repair it - you have plenty credits so that should not be an issue.

Post a picture of your specialisations alongside a pic of the aircraft as it shows if anything is missing for that to be unlocked. as well for folk to see if you have missed something

If you get no joy I can only suggest the Zendesk and ask the question.

Yes, you have all the requirements.

You have enough cash
You have the specialisations
You have the licences
You have done the gold missions

You need the Zendesk because something is not right. The only other one thing I can suggest is uninstall and re-install.

I after doing the uninstall etc then and you still cant get an offer to start a company you absolutely need to contact the helpdesk.

Just make sure you have pictures of your credits and all the above as proof if you need it for the zendesk.

Zendesk has logged the issue and is investigating since they were able to reproduce. Fingers crossed it comes in a patch in the near future. Guess ill play other stuff in the meantime.

How frustrating, still at least they are investigating. Did they suggest what it might be or just told you to wait for an update. Since it is only you who has the problem i would have thought they could do something about it now. Otherwise enjoy your next game. Glad it has been validated though.

They did not indicate what it may be or if others had the same issue. All they said was that they could reproduce it, are investigating it, and in order to solve it immediately i would need to reset my career, which i dont plan to do.

Thank you Jummivana, i was able to get feedback from Zendesk. They were able to reproduce and are currently investigating. I can provide you a link to that thread if needed.

I am also having exactly the same issue, I’m hoping this can be fixed by Asobo so that I don’t have to reset my 50+ hours career progress.

@SophisDriver @Jummivana I have a Zendesk ticket in for this, they said they were looking into the issue and could replicate it. Fingers crossed it’s in the next patch cause I’m not restarting my career.

This definitely is a bug, I was reset my career two days ago, and unlock the company at lv20 with 26K+ Cr. Fingers crossed they can fix this bug for you gays @TyDobby @Trainzak.

HI, Some people are saying that if they change the server they get good results. Perhaps try that if it doesn’t disrupt anything guys.

Bizarrely, today i logged in and could make one… I repeated all the passenger transport trainings yesterday (even though i had A ratings in them), perhaps that was somehow bugged?

So i suppose if this happens to you, whoever reads this, try redoing your trainings and resetting your game?

Cannot create company such as “Skydive aviation”

Can you post some pictures of your specialisation page and your licence page so we can try to help. Secondly, have you done the gold mission in Spain in Employee mode?
