Career - Limited Mission choice. All want to push me into the Alps

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Career missions don’t refresh and all want to push me in the opposite direction I want to go. Took a SW job and now no freelance missions in my locality at all (See pic). For context, just out of view in the SE corner is Rome. I’m not in the middle of a barren wasteland.

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Always since Launch.

  1. Decide you want to go to say, Southern Italy from Northern Italy
  2. Get pushed further North

I noticed this in my career too where no new missions appear in areas you clear on the map. I can’t fly in the south of UK anymore because its empty as well as other areas I’ve cleared.

Yeah I don’t know what it’s like in other areas but Western Europe is very limited. Even before doing freelancer when I was in UK (started at Farnborough) I figured I’d make my way north and do some nice trips in NW Scotland before heading over to Scandinavia and going south from there to the Med. Planned to stay in each area a while. Nope. Shuttle between Southern Coast and N England.

The very limited mission choice means I couldn’t do that and now pretty much every mission wants me to go in the alps, in a 172, in 30kt crosswinds, at 3500ft.

I thought there were 9 million missions or something. I see the same half dozen every day.

There are workarounds but even those are unreliable. You can fast travel to another airport from the map to move your ‘bubble’.
