In career mode, when buying a new aircraft, I can’t select the livery for the aircraft (any of them…)
When I bought the first aircraft, it came without any livery at all.
Is there a way I missed to select the livery ?

Yeah same here, I tried “Repaint” and paid 19,000CR but all it did was clean the aircraft. I thought what repaint meant was I could pick a new painting… but no

I haven’t been able to figure this out either. Surely we’re not stuck just flying all white planes for all of career mode?

Yeah this is dumb. I don’t understand why there is a “repaint” vs. “clean”. Repainting does exactly the same thing that cleaning does, except its like 15,000cr cheaper. Unless the paint on the aircraft chips over time, I dont understand what the difference is. You should absolutely be able to choose a livery or ideally, upload your own or create your own using an in game designer.
I really hope its just a bug or something and eventually they will allow us to have some better designs on our own planes. I absolutely hate flying this white, purple, and yellow 172.
I also noticed that you can’t change your tail number/registration on your plane once you buy it. I’ve only bought the first C172 so far, but I’ve tried entering a different number in the EFB and it doesn’t change on the plane or what’s used when talking to ATC. Such a bummer.

Adding my +1 to this. Too many things are undocumented and this is just another example. At least add more to the Repaint tooltip to indicate that it apparently accomplishes absolutely nothing except drain 15000cr with seemingly no benefit.
Yea, I’m hoping that they are just holding the choice of repainting in custom liveries to a later update. It really weird for them to have that option in the game otherwise.
Yes, you would think that you’d be able to simply select a livery, since most aircraft have plenty to choose from. But then I remember that the ability to rename your company had to patched in. Add it to the list of things that you’d think would be in.
Seriously, career mode is a massive disappointment.
Repaint does the same thing for both used and new aircraft, I learned the expensive way…
There’s currently no way to change paints in career mode.
