Career Mode - can't fly first ferry mission, progress stuck

2024-12-11 THIS ISSUE APPEARS TO BE FIXED, POSSIBLY BY THE 2024-12-20 UPDATE. I SIGNED IN AND THE BRIEFING APPEARED.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
I restarted my career because I read doing so will “reset” all of the insane turbulence and high wind, making the mode playable. It worked, but had the side effect of possibly breaking career mode? I can’t get the briefing for the first Ferry Flight mission to appear and there’s no way to start the mission. I’m stuck only being able to do First Flights and I can’t progress.

No addons installed.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time, even after closing and reopening the sim

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. Start a career.
2. Progress your certifications until completing Night Currency and Instrument Rating.
3. Progress specializations until unlocking First Flight, Ferry Flight, Flightseeing, Skydive Aviation, Cargo Transport - Light, and Charter Service - Private
4. Restart your career because even missions with 1 star are unplayable due to high winds and crazy turbulence
5. Progress certifications to only PPL and CPL-A
6. Progress specializations to First Flight and Ferry Flight
7. Select the “gold diamond” introductory Ferry Flight mission
8. Map zooms in but no briefing appears and only interaction possible is to hit ESC to back out

As an update, I levelled my career to L5 to see if the Flightseeing missions were affected. It seems I can get the briefing for the first “gold” Flightseeing mission to appear once I hit L5, but, even after that, the briefing for the “gold” Ferry Flight still does not appear.

And I can’t complete the first golden passenger mission in any way. I spent 4 hours. MSFS24 crashes all the time.
