I want to be able to start Cold n Dark, not at start of runway, asking for take off clearance.
Used to start, most of time, at terminal/ gate, with the apu running. Since update 6 everything is now done for you and you start at hold point before runway.
Here your supposed to load plane, set flight computer etc. Not very real simulation.
Used to happen at small airports, I assumed it was to do with simulator performance. But at International airports it’s a joke. I’ll just park up before runway and do my flight planning, load cargo and fuel, and watch all the planes drive through me!!!
Is that on all types of missions now - no cold and dark and no taxiing? Wow, I stopped playing it a short while back but for this to be so different now - it might be because of the performance problems but how do you load passengers or cargo if you are already at the hold point? Is it magically already loaded?
It’s only on some airports, usually AFB strips that have no gates or terminals. Everything is pre loaded, cargo and passengers, you just need to review the route and performance init before takeoff
You get this alot in the 747F, because it’s oversized and it’s cargo is space ship parts so alot of AFB strips in places like Area 51 and other countries Area 51 equivelent
