On Xbox on fs 20204. I was doing a high earning ferry flight and at take off the sim and Xbox controller worked hand in hand for ATC acknowledging. But at decent, the left d pad, for acknowledging ATC, decided not to be recognized by the sim. All other buttons worked and again ATC d pad worked minutes before. I tried a different Xbox X controller but same issue.
So the bug is the sim randomly decides to stop recognize controller inputs. So resulting in being dinged on credits

This happened to me 4 times in my last 5 missions. I’m giving up now until it’s fixed

Yeah it happened to me again just now. Messed me up on approach. Clicking on the toggle button to load the menu and choose communication to acknowledge did work, but then the plane goes to full speed and does it own thing. Solve one problem and made another
For some reason, the sim sometimes doesn’t switch the frequency in the radio for you. The workaround is to manually set the proper frequency into the radio. I’ve had this happen during flight following handoffs, IFR handoffs, and trying to communicate to arrival airports. I am on Xbox but I’ve seen it happen to PC simmers on livestreams also.
If you go into the Communication window you can use that interface to change the frequency, or you can use the knobs in the cockpit to adjust frequency. I’m now in the habit of setting up the arrival airport frequency in the standby slot for Com 1, just so I don’t have to look it up and set it while trying to fly the plane.
That works too, the comms window, but same issue during flight. You toggle the menu and the plane then speeds up and does its thing
Yup, I regularly have this issue where pressing left D-Pad doesn’t acknowledge the ATC messages so I get penalised for not responding.
very aggravating. hoping its fixed in the new patch
