Levering functionality offered in the SimConnect API, external applications like “VFR Map” allow players to teleport through missions in Career Mode without penalty or any negative repercussion, allowing missions to be completed in as little as a few minutes without penalty. Since career mode prevents the use of internal addons, is designed in a way to rate players on their rule following and their mission execution, and offers a skip function at the expense of credits, i do not believe it was a design intention to allow exploitation of “repositioning” via the API in career mode. Thus, it is my opinion that this capability in career mode is a bug and hence why I’m reporting it.

I don’t see why they should care too much about people cheating in career mode. It is single player, if people want to give themselves a bit of an advantage then I say that should be allowed.
Why are you reporting this? It’s already frustrating how they don’t allow us to play the way we want to play and punish us for skipping the most repetitive and boring sections of a flight. It’s single-player, let us play how we want to play.
Agree. Don’t have 6 hours in my life to farm just 1 cargo flight that will be bugged at the end of the flight. @devs What is wrong with you? do you want us to spend a year to farm a boeing?
Great. I have like an hour a day to throw at gaming.,maybe. I don’t want to take 6 weeks to grind out a plane. And that’s IF the game happens to not bug out and start giving me negatives because it fails to recognize something that I do. It’s single player. Let us live our lives with this buggy mess. Good job dude. You are so helpful…
In your other thread about removing the ability to increase simrate, you mention “The point of my OP was not to try to tell people how they should enjoy playing their single player game,” yet here you are advocating for yet another way to remove a method of speeding up flights. You’re either young with lots of time on your hands, retired with lots of time on your hands, or a complete jobsworth. Most of us don’t have hours to spend on single flights and skipping the flight portion of career mission removes most of the ability to earn income. But our planes will still accrue wear and tear if we use that option, which places us into debt. So well done on ruining the experience of a single-player game for so many of us.
So this games launch was dog ■■■■ and the game is still almost unplayable unless you want to do very short flights it is unplayable. i crash after about 30 mins into a flight. i have a high end pc and i have to open it in administrator mode just to launch it. the game is unplayable for most so why take away a way for people who enjoy the game until they fix this horrible launch that crashes every few flights/ certain flights. only way to finish is using vrfmap to skip close to landing and it still crashes 50% of the time when i land or just after landing and im not skipping 100% of the flight just enough so i can finish the mission to not lose 20-45 mins of my life and get nothing for it because the game wasn’t ready for launch and still isnt playable the way it should be. notify me when its playable again. games dead to me now. good job ■■■■■■■■ on the small % of people who still play this game after the first few weeks even threw all the bs bugs, crashes, and half the planes not having working landing gear.
There’s a nice little game called “Airline Manager” - you may want to check it out. Flying airplanes is clearly not something you want to do considering you just want to teleport and skip the entire flight. Farewell.
Actually if you only want to do just one takeoff /climb/descent/landing per day then flying is not for you , cause watching the clouds go by is not flying , the above mentioned procedures are… so if you want to do as many of those per day then flying is for you … Farewell
