ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Several times i cannot even start a mission because the character will not move.How am i supposed to remove the covers if my character does,nt move

In Freeflight my character does move,no problem

The collective of my Eurocopter will not come down when i am going to land

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

several times my character doesnt move when i start a S&R mission

For the purposes of tracking and resolving issues I would recommend opening one bug report per bug - this is likely to be moved to the Community Support category as-is, just a heads-up.

I have not seen similar reports. If it was a spread issue I assume many users would already have reported it. Hopefully some users will be able to bring some help.

Yes, but why dont i have any control problems in free flight and in careermode(vr) i cant even move an inch

So using wasd you cant move your char? Have you looked at what your keyboard mappings are? This isnt a bug and a problem locally at your end

I can’t do the gold star medium cargo mission which goes to Miyake. The sim spawned another gold star mission near the Miyake one and when you click on the correct one, it moves the map down to the Hiroshima mission which pays credits.
If I am forced to do that one ,will the sim recognise that I have a valid medium cargo licence and allow me to buy a medium cargo plane?

In PS5 this is.

The star missions dont change what you are allowed to do or fly. This is governed by three things:

  1. you need to get the achievenents and certifications required based on completing things like 10 light cargo runs

  2. you then need to complete a marked gold mission (this will be a darker gold logo with the cargo symbol in it)

  3. have the correct company purchased to buy a plane to support medium missions. Like the PC-24 for example

Thanks Zooze, I do have the PC version and own 190 planes. It is the PS5 version which won’t let me do the Miyake mission. (Which was the qualifying mission previously on my PC version). I completed the mission it forced me to do to Hiroshima and seems to have registered that I can fly medium cargo now.

I don’t have a console so I dont know, but can’t you transfer your career over from the PC version? guessing not.

No, not PS5. It’s a standalone console which doesn’t require the xbox app.

No offense but I just want to mention my personal experience.

Message to the dev teams :

I’ve played the game since the release on Xbox serie X and the carreer mode was full of bugs. I did play for a while nonetheless, enough to try all activities, unlock all certification and companies etc and buy several aircraft but at some point stopped playing waiting for an improvemnt.

Now here I am, 1 year after, installed the last Update and wanted to give it another chance and even wanted to buy the game for good, maybe the premium deluxe (i play it with gamepass now).

Unfortunatly, I was very disappointed to find that the career mode is still plagued by many bugs… CTDs when loading some mission, no light on some runway at night, unreasonably short runway for Pc 12 mission etc etc…

I have only few hours to play and I have not the time or motivation to post bug report. I just want to play, not spend endless time reporting bugs or ask for improvement. This is not my work.

I think the dev teams should care more about fixing/improving the career mode.

As a casual player, the career mode for me is the most important game mode since it gives you goals and incentive to play. Free play is too boring for me. Can we do firefighter or recue mission in freeplay?

All Activities are a very good ideas but the constant need to find workaround for the countless bugs/issues is really hurting the experience.

User-friendly side, I find extremely painfull to locate and maintain a specific aircraft on the map. I have more than 20 aircraft all over the globe now on career and it is very annoying you can’t display a list of all your aircraft while in map view to locate them and make maintenance on them.
