Hi,
I have about 10 aircraft in different companies that earn extra money when I fly in career mode. Does any one know how this is tied to the amount of time I fly ? for example:
- If I fly 1 hour myself, does each aircraft then fly one hours worth ?
- What happens if I fly a 4 hour trip but a x2 accelerated speed (i.e. 2 hours real world duration) - do the other pilots do 4 hours or 2 hours ?
- What is I flew a 10 hour trip at 0.5 speed ? Would the other pliots fly for 20 hours ?
I can’t always be at the computer but still want to progress so sometimes using accel/decel to my advantage helps. Just wondering how best to maximise the other pilots earning capabilities.
Cheers,
R
To my experience real time that you are in the air equals the other pilot income.
Accelerating time slows pilot income, Slowing time increases pilot income. However running the sim with slow time to increase pilot income you risk the autopilot not functioning properly and NAV dropping out unexpectedly. This has happened to me while I was trying it out flying 23 208B’s I’m retired now and no longer use Accelerated time, straight time for me.
Accelerating your time only helps if say you do a VIP flight for say 2 hrs and earned 1,500,000 and then did it x2 and completed in half the time and then did a second at the same rate to earn the mission income x2. So 3,000,000 in mission income but your passive then works out the same as if you did 2hrs of flying.
