ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Since SU 1 career contract basic income is not payed but is reduced at the end of the mission. I thought first it was caused by using sim rate so i did a few contract/missions without using sim rate… same result. Did a passenger mission basic income 8.9 m credits, at the end it payed just 4.4 m credits. Same for VIP and medium cargo. See attachments for medium cargo mission

I just wrote about this in a different thread. This is a new scam that also included a explosion in Maintenace cost. The check up was around 3500cr for the PC12 and now its 30,000cr. I just flew a PC12 in new condition just before the flight, a medium cargo, that gave me a high S rating and used the same airplane for another flight when it wanted 30,000cr for the checkup and 130,000cr to fix half the airplane. This is absurd and it keeps getting worse. Also notice that the first screen, (when you take the job), says contract, not contract including some bonuses. Another screwup.

If I recall correctly, I believe they updated the displayed payouts to include things like reputation bonuses and such instead of only showing the base pay. I’d have to look again to see where that was mentioned…

General Bug Fixes

  • Estimated mission currency reward on the world map now takes reputation bonus into account (visual only).

Medium Cargo was not one of the mission types uplifted. It seems to have been prejudiced instead - why was that necessary??

Mmm… thx. Is a good explenation allthough the numbers don’t add up and the total payments now are lower. I used to get 1.3 m credits easily by picking the right mefium cargo missions. Now a barely get 1 m.

For me PC12 always cost me 30k to check it up, even before SU1

Go to VIP mission, got around 6M for 2 missions and total flight time around 3h with CJ4

same problem, took a passanger flight few minutes ago, freelance mode, base income was about 8 million cr, i only got 5,5 million. wasnt like that pre-update.

It’s not your base income. Post SU1 it is your total estimated payout including reputation bonus.

a boeing 737 costs 99 million, the beluga costs 306 million once its unlocked :D, 7-8 belugas and the money is gone

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Since SU2, when successfully completing a mission, the reward does not match the listing in Freelance. Example:
I just completed a arial firefighting mission listed for ~360.000 and completed it with S rating. Yet, the payout was just under 250.000. I flew the whole mission e.g. did not skip anywhere nor did I use simrate. Where did the remaining 110.000 go?
This also happened on agricultural aviation with the H125, where a mission was listed for ~450.00 but only gave me 390.000 on an A rating completion.

Description of the issue:

Career payouts do not match mission description. I am early on in my career without a company.

Took a skydiving mission that is supposed to pay out 6k. Get 3.2K.

Take another skydiving mission that is supposed to pay out 20k, get 3.3K.

etc.

  1. Fly a mission of any time in Career Mode and note the payment it says you will earn.

  2. Upon completing the mission (for company), see how much you are paid. It will be less than what was advertised for the mission.

  3. Most recently I flew a $400K company firefighting mission and earned $225K, and a $180K VIP company mission and earned only $70K.

NOTE: I did not skip any part of any mission.

Did not take photos, but numbers below. Has been happening in all of my company flights. These are two of the recent ones.

$400K firefighting mission only paid $250K.

$180K VIP mission only paid $70K.

I think it would be useful for reporting this issue if users could be sure to grab screenshots before and after the flight, showing the expected payout amount versus the final payout screen breaking down bonuses/penalties.

Here’s a quick test I did - the math is certainly weird, though I’m not getting paid less than anticipated if bonuses are included. It’s still not clear where that 1,790 Cr. comes from or what it means in the context of the final payout screen.

I would think the amount shown when selecting a mission represents the Base Income (or in Employee flights such as this, the Base Income minus the Employer Commission) so you are guaranteed at least that amount, but bonuses will increase that. In this example, that would mean this mission had a minimum payout amount of only 580 Cr., which is significantly less than what’s shown on the mission selection screen.

Also worth noting is that this is likely comparing apples to umbrellas with many user’s issues as this is a Ferry Flight (not something most people are flying unless they absolutely must) and I’m also currently on the 1.6.5.0 version of the Sim Update 4 beta.
