Last I checked, I was an Employee and planned to stay that way - avoiding the pains of managing a Company. I was on the cusp of getting my true VIP Charter having finally gotten ten B rated flights or better. I still didn’t have taildragger or turboprop ATP or firefighting or rotary-wing ratings.

Now my Certifications are all complete except Super Heavy, and my Specializations have almost doubled.

My Reputation was in the low A’s and now is maxed out at S.

I wasn’t keeping a close track of my Credits because I was grinding through my Specializations and cared more for the score at the end. But I definitely did not have over 1 Million, but the balance is currently 5 Million. And I have an HQ upgrade.

I was last in the US Northeast, working my way through Northern Canada and the Mid-Atlantic. Now I’ve been dropped in Lake Tahoe area out West. Plenty of missions, haven’t really dug deeper into what’s available.

I dunno. What to do now? I’m a little overwhelmed having had everything unlocked. It’s neat, to be sure. But honestly, I was looking forward to suffering through that 900NM Gold Flight for VIP initiation. Heh.

Is this not consistent with the release notes for careers? I only glanced at them, there are a lot!

Changes to Career/Challenge League in the Sim Update 2 Beta

Beginning with the Sim Update 2 Beta, Career and Challenge League will have separate progress and leaderboards from the live build.

This means Career mode progress in the live build will not carry over to the flighting build, and vice versa. In addition, Challenge League in the flighting build will have a separate leaderboard from the live build.

Making Career and Challenge League progress separate in the flighting build allows us to test additional changes and fixes that cannot be tested in the live build. All Career specializations will be unlocked by default in the flighting build to allow participants to preview changes that might not be available (based on Career mode progress) in the live build.

My C172 has been removed from my company and left with poor choice replacements. None of which can do cargo missions. Whats happened?

It’s not your saved game. It’s a new game with everything unlocked to try things out. Your game is still intact in the live build

I do not understand this change. I have no motivation to play career mode with a random save that is not mine. I won’t touch career mode until the final version comes out and I can continue my career.

It’s unlocked as a sandbox approach. Most likely the more you can do, the more you can potentially uncover defects.

Yeah - but they also completely took away (for me at least) all VIP missions and all PC-24 missions

Fold up one or more companies, buy a PC-24? I was contemplating it since I don’t fly rotary wing.

The PC-24 was removed all together is what I’m saying- along with all VIP missions.

Ah, well the PC-24 had a lot of issues, they may have pulled it back until Carenado addresses those with a new build. Just a guess.

Yeah.. Well, there’s no mention of it in the changelog and that definitely doesn’t explain the complete removal of VIP missions because that means no use for the CJ4 too.

I remember this happened when SU1 was released aswell, i mean su2 just got released gove it a couple of hours and they will fix it.

I agree - i have too mcu to do and I want to focus on the stuff I enjoy.
I sold all my planes - i was only interested in Cargo, VIP, and Sightseeing. I wont be doing Cargo or charter now as the sim rate has been removed.
Flightseeing has had the Corvalis removed which is really disappointing - it was perfect for sightseeing.
Anyway - their will be some more updates, so hogpefully so more tweaks.
