Carenado 182Q HSI - how do you correct drift?

I’m afraid this is such a basic question, but I don’t see a way. The HSI has drifted 25 degrees off of the compass. I don’t see any key commands under drift, magnetic, compass, etc.

The HSI has an OBS and heading bug but no “push” like a regular DG.

There is a key for this…cant remember what the default is as I have re assigned mine …but its something like align compass or align HSI …keep looking the keyboard assignments, its there somewhere!
I’m at work now, so can’t check!

Key “D” …maybe?

Thats a point, if you still have 2020, check what the ‘D’ key does there …and then find it in 2024!

I know in 2024 it was not the same ‘D’ key by default.

A few ways to do this.
For ANY aircraft that require compass drift correction.

In the ASSISTANCE MENU
= No manual drift adjustment required at all.

OR

2 methods in the CONTROLS MENU
Search doesn’t find these unfortunately :frowning:

This looks perfect.

I’ve created a new keyboard profile under 182Q specific, and then ensured it was selected. It asked if it should apply to all 182Q variants. I clicked yes.

Then I entered key commands. I get a popup asking to enter a new name for this new input profile, with an option to apply to all airplanes.

Is this working the right way?

This indicates this might be a Carenado bug as I had significant HSI drift in their 210 with this disabled/enabled (whichever one results in NO drift).

Worked! and perfectly! Just ignored the first keyboard profile prompt. Now CTRL F1 increases and CTRL F2 decreases :slightly_smiling_face:
