I hope this isn’t a low effort rejig of their original release.
Well, visually it already looks stellar as always. No corners cut there. As for the flight model and system depth … It’s Carenado. We know what we are going to get: “Not great, not terrible”.
If it’s as good as their v-tail Bonanza I’ll be happy enough.
indeed. really like that V tail Bonanza. If it had the option for a GTN750 it would be perfect but JayDee’s workaround with the GNS530 bezel is a reasonable compromise
I am definitely looking forward to the RG,
I had it in FSX and loved it.
A few years ago I had a flight in a real RG and
And flew her myself for a few minutes.
What a great experience.
Now I hope someone will do a nice “D-ESKY” repaint
for the RG and everything is perfect for me.
I can get onto that. Basic scheme is the same as I want to do anyway (old red/gold variant of D-EGTG), so slapping a couple of different colours on shouldn’t be too hard.
I think the Carenado Archer sounds are quality. Should take a listen if you haven’t already.
I would love to see a 210 or 206. Back in the day they had a 206 for FS9 with pax or cargo interiors, cargo pack option, amphibian, etc. Would love to have that in MSFS.
Yeah the 206 got a lot of flight time with me.
Not tried that yet only the 182 and 337
That would be the icing on the cake,
Thank you for considering this.
Fantastic. I just love the old 70’s style gauges. That will be a day one purchase, no doubts.
Also, Carenado are bringing most, if not all of their planes to MSFS, so there should be a C206 and CT210M released at some point… Slowly, all my beloved FSX GA planes are making it over to MSFS
P.S. While I do not need working circuit breakers, an option to exchange the antiquated GNS530 for an even older pair of navcoms would be sooo nice
Yes, I know, radio beacons are slowly becoming a thing of aviation history, and even ILSes are getting rarer these days, but man I just love that type of flying in MSFS…
The 182 sounds by FTSim+ are an improvement.
Nice Is there anything out for the 337?
haven’t seen anything
I’ve been waiting for this plane for a long time too. I’m just curious how many belly landings I make because I forget to extend the landing gear…
Does that have the same motor as the normal 182?
I believe it’s the same 235bhp normally aspirated engine as the standard 182… not the T182’s turbo.
Using this video as a reference, the cowling shape suggests that Carenado is indeed modeling a 1979 182RG II.
Swoon
