Carenado 1900D and Shrike Commander

Is carenado still doing aircraft for Flight sim and into fs2024 ?

Really hoping one day their Beech B1900D HD SERIES will come over to FS one day as well as their 500S SHRIKE AERO COMMANDER
Been hanging out for them in 2020 fingers crossed for 2024

Carenado produced a couple of aircraft for 2024 so I imagine that more are on the way at least for that sim in the coming years.

More than a couple. They have done all these new ones for 2024 (spread in the various tiers):

  1. Cessna 400 Corvalis TT
  2. Pilatus PC-12 NGX
  3. Robinson R66
  4. Cessna 188 AG Truck (deluxe)
  5. Cessna 404 Titan (deluxe)
  6. Cessna 408 SkyCourier (deluxe)
  7. Beechcraft C90 GTX King Air (premium)
  8. Pilatus PC-24 (premium)
  9. Saab 340B (premium)

No idea what else they will do in future but I hope you get the ones you wish for one day!

I assume the PC-12 is the same as what’s available now?

No. The one in MSFS 2024 is a NGX model.

Isn’t the Saab 340B also from the Carenado?

And yes, B1900D would be a truky great add on.

Yes you’re right, it is

You kind of have the new Skycourier, C90, Twotter, and Saab (and the 350i if it gets a woefully needed update) all dancing around there in the twin commuter TP arena. Pretty good bump in aircraft with 2024 for a class that’s been pretty neglected. Here’s hoping they reworked the propeller and throttle ranges/functions for TP in '24

I wanted it to be released by Carenado because if it is released by MS, it will not have third party avionics such as GTN750.

Something to create a wishlist for… The ability to integrate 3rd Party Avionics like that…

I saw a 1900D parked today at one of the MSFS airports, maybe just the model maybe a premonition.

It would be nice as the next Carenado plane.

Here, here, if anyone at Carenado is listening, we would love the 1900d! Crossing everything but my eyes.

Black square will do a study level aero commander probably before the end of 2025. they also have the king air for turbo prop commuter ops which is higher quality than most certified level D simulators (I speak from experience with the level D simulators…). system wise it’s very similar to the B1900. there is a good chance the king air will be ported over to professional series for msfs2024.

There’s only a month and change left in 2025 and he literally just released both the Bonanza and Baron. We’ve only seen very preliminary modeling screenshots of the Shrike and Turbo Commander. I will be thrilled if they’re out by mid-2026.

What about for those of us who don’t want a full-on study level aircraft?

Still hoping for them one day

the other problem is Microsoft flight simulator games never parter’s that much with regional or small cargo airlines to get that stuff in the game, like SkyWest, Mesa, or Central Mountain air to get these different types of regional aircraft in career mode, so we won’t get fun little aircraft if they went the default aircraft route

Because I’d love to fly central mountain air routes in the B1900D

All I want from Carenado is the 1900D to come-what is coming after the Premier 1A, I wonder!
