Have you confirmed the same in the G1000 172? If I remember right, you click the centre, then you click, and hold on one of the cardinal directions around it to move the pointer around which in turn scrolls the map.
Even before you push the cardinal position , when it is working correctly arrows should appear in the direction you have chosen…no they don’t.
I was using the G1000 172 earlier to test someone elses waypoint, and I tested this feature on that, and it did work for me. I was able to scroll the map over to my destination airport.
I’ll need to test the 182 as well.
Confirmed. The mouse pointer appears. but when moving the mouse to the cardinal points around that, the cursor does not change shape.
This seems to be a common problem with the Caranado planes, where the hotspots around interactable elements either don’t work or cause a CTD.
I have also submitted a ticket to Carenado’s website, which they have acknowledged back. We’ll see where that goes as well.
I did try the 172 it does pan the map…yes
