Hi fellow general aviation pilots,
if you like it my new Carenado Mooney Cockpit overhaul is finished and uploaded:
Enjoy
The EDM 800 engine gauge now no longer has misplaced EDM labeling, the seats are a little bit more clean, the main instrument panel has slight wears and tears but without being overly dirty, the carpet is now more clean and realistic without these mirrored texture Rorschach-like patterns everywhere in the middle, and the foot rest plates are redone.
The carpet in the suitcase area behind the seats (I don´t know what it´s called in a small plane - “freight room” surely is not exactly the right term ) is also redone. Freight compartment? Trunk?
Well you know what I mean.
Sorry I don´t know how to illuminate the inscriptions for the overhead panel switches and I need to wait until Carenado itself patches this problem. So the switches on the overhead panel are still not illuminated.
As soon as I find some more bugs in the future I will correct them, but so far the cockpit looks relatively perfect from all angles and perspectives.
Enjoy and have a good flight!

Thanks for your efforts. I’ll give it a try. There’s a couple other mods that I already employ to fix the worn-out look of the carpets/seats but you’ve made some other fixes as well so that’s great. This is my favorite aircraft so these improvements are appreciated.
Thank you, it’s looking real good. I’ll give it a go, after the fixes.
I can not start the engine, the fuel tanks are closed and can not be changed
I’ve been having that issue. I can’t get the fuel tank selector to work even without mods. But if you auto start, it works fine (selector stays off but function of plane works). Not trying to hijack this thread or awesome mod. Hopefully a quick answer is known! Or point out a thread for us!
Sorry I cannot fix the buggy fuel selector that has been broken after the last update - I only make textures

thats a workaround to start the engine … but when you fly a while you will notice the plane getting more and more unbalanced, if you cannot switch the tank being used in flight. If you monitor the gauges telling you how much fuel is left, you’ll notice, that this beautiful plane uses fuel only from the left or right tank …
