Carenado purchased airplanes does not get enabled as mentioned after simulator restart.

1.Select the disabled airplane
2.Click on the “Enable” button
3.Restart MSFS as mentioned

TL;DR this is not a bug - it’s a side effect of Marketplace being down AND Carenado’s planes not being fully forward compatible with the new sim.
Enable them using My Library.
Shut down the sim.
Locate your Content.xml file and find the entries for the Carenado planes and edit them so there’s only one line for each and it reads User Activated (look for other similar lines for comparsion)
Restart the sim.
Note that even if they are properly installed, some airplanes will appear INSIDE the livery choices for other planes.
Perfect example - I just installed (again) the following Carenado made aircraft:
They’re all appearing inside the C170B VARIANT tab:
The last time this happened, my Skymaster appeared as a VARIANT inside the Mooney M20R. You’ll have to open each, configure and check for who’s where.
It may take several reboots for this to take effect.
My recommendation would be to contact Carenado to ask the compatibility status of their planes in FS2024. (they may already have communicated around that).
I have the M20R and it stays as “Streamed” after a restart:
You probably want to open a Zendesk at this point - but the advice I gave up above is exactly what they’ll tell you. I think this is an issue that won’t get addressed until Marketplace reopens, but that’s just my evaluation.
Notably I have not been able to get the 182RG to appear. There’s a long-standing thread elsewhere about this, but it seems to be really persistent in terms of not working.
So - here’s the really crazy part about this. I did not restart the sim since I posted that screenshot that’s part of the solution above. Note - I found the rest of the Carenado’s I own inside the C170B, right? I finished a flight that did not use ANY of those planes, and the C170B is gone from the Free Flight menu choice. However, the Mooney that was embedded before is now in Free Flight. And the C170B is inside the Mooney variants.
