Cargo Mission spawns Cessna 208B on helipad, making take‑off impossible

Description

In a Cargo Transport – Medium mission, the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX is spawned on a helipad (HEL) rather than a runway or suitable short strip. This makes the mission non‑viable, as the aircraft cannot safely or realistically take off from a helipad.

The mission objective explicitly requires a conventional take‑off sequence, yet the starting location contradicts the aircraft’s operational requirements.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start a Cargo Transport – Medium mission (Standard air freight).
  2. Aircraft assigned: Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX.
  3. Mission loads with the aircraft positioned on a rooftop helipad.
  4. Mission steps prompt standard take‑off actions (release parking brake, enter runway).

Expected Behaviour

  • Fixed‑wing cargo aircraft should spawn on a runway, taxiway, or appropriate short airstrip.
  • Alternatively, missions involving helipads should be restricted to rotary‑wing aircraft only.

Actual Behaviour

  • The Cessna 208B spawns on a helipad, with no viable take‑off path.
  • Mission progression is blocked or requires unrealistic behaviour.

Impact

  • Mission cannot be completed as designed.
  • Breaks immersion and contradicts basic aircraft capability constraints.
  • Affects career progression and contract rewards.
