The Eric Flight Caribbean Skies Flight Sim Marathon marks the sixth annual endurance flight simulator livestream marathon in support of the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, as part of the Great Cycle Challenge. This event is more than a flight—it is a continuous, single-session journey across one of the most breathtaking regions on Earth, uniting aviation, exploration, and purpose into one unforgettable experience.
Departing from the shores of South Florida, this marathon expedition will trace a sweeping arc through the Caribbean, connecting a diverse chain of islands, cultures, and landscapes. Over the course of the flight, viewers and pilots alike will witness a stunning evolution of scenery—from the shallow, crystal-clear banks of the Bahamas to the rugged mountain terrain of Hispaniola, the lush tropical beauty of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and the dramatic volcanic peaks of the Lesser Antilles.
As the journey progresses southward, the landscape transforms once more into the vibrant coastal regions of Trinidad and Venezuela, before culminating in the unique, desert-like beauty of the ABC Islands. Each leg offers its own visual story: brilliant turquoise waters, coral reefs stretching beneath the surface, densely forested hillsides, colorful island towns, and some of the most iconic aviation approaches in the world.
This marathon is flown entirely in one continuous session, symbolizing endurance, commitment, and the unwavering pursuit of hope. Just as the flight presses forward across open ocean and distant horizons, so too does the mission behind it—raising awareness and funds to support life-saving research for children battling cancer.

For this year’s marathon, we will perform a flight that takes place with a large majority of it over water and a variety of tropical landscapes. We will hopefully reach our goal of raising $2500 overall (a goal we reached last year).
Due to the great fundraising success last year with the 5th Annual Ultimate American Canadian Flight Trip Marathon flight that raised over $2,800 for the Children’ s Cancer Research Fund as part of the Great Cycle Challenge, I have decided to make this sixth annual marathon flight event to fundraise for this worthy cause. Therefore, I have planned out the Caribbean Skies Flight Sim Marathon that I will stream on Twitch, YouTube, and Kick simultaneously on Saturday, July 25, 2026 starting at 8AM EDT (1200z). I hope others will join me in this challenge and promote at the same time to help fundraise for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
