Center cockpit view?

Hi, trying out the bush trips in Tyrol, Austria. How do I center the cockpit view? I’ve noticed that even with Track IR if I use the mouse inadvertently to pan the camera, the center point of the camera changes, I mean I can look forward with my head but the sim camera will not be centered.

Anyway, I want to try out the Sim without Track IR too but want to know if there is a key to center the view.

I don’t have Track IR but I use Opentrack and in the settings panel of Opentrack there is a binding to “reset” the view to default. Have you checked if in Track IR progam there is such a command?

Moderator Edit: Try pressing the “Space” button.

Look for ‘save’ in the controller setup panel, bind it to a key that isnt being used, now center your view the way you want it, and press the button you bound save to. (youll have to look at the save commands I believe the one you want is something like save primary window postion’). Once you do this when you press S on your keyboard it should return you to the default seating settings that you saved previously. At least thats the way it works here without track or vr…

Yes, I have a key binded to center the Track IR view. That however, does not center the cockpit view.

Ok, I’ll try that. Thank you.

Ok, thanks

Yep. Creating custom cockpit views is the only solution. Spacebar didn’t work.

I think you meant Left CTRL + Spacebar. That centers the view but at the same time raises the height of the pilot.

In controls, go to whatever peripheral you use to change views (like the hat switch or something else like A2 on the Saitek yoke) and select one for ‘Reset cockpit view’ cockpit camera action. That will always take you back to the default view. Essential with track IR. Of course a custom view will do it too.
