Certain planes have a game / sim breaking bug

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?

No

Have you disabled/removed all your mods and addons?

Yes

Brief description of the issue:

Certain planes crash “into object” as soon as I turn the engines on. It’s very easy to replicate and it happens almost every time. I have noticed this issue on Diamond DA62, DA40s, DV20, The Robins, Beechcraft Baron G58, King Air, the Cessna Longtitudes. Somehow the DC-3 and Daher TBM 930 are immune from this bug. This doesn’t happen with any of commercial jetliners.

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

N/A. I hope someone other than me can recreate this and share.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Load up any of the planes I mentioned. Start the engines. If you are unlucky, you’ll notice that your plane randomly crashes into an object (probably the ground) and the flight ends.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

Xbox Series X

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

Current build. 1.31.22.0

Hi there,
I think that this issue may be specific to you, unfortunately. I just tried several of these aircraft and they all worked for me, and if this were a widespread issue, lots of people would be reporting it. I’m moving this into Community Support > Tech Support for community assistance.

Out of curiosity, what happens when you use slew mode to lift your aircraft up away from the airfield and then exit slew mode? IIRC it should automatically configure the AC for flight when you do that so you won’t drop like a rock.

As a workaround you could just turn off crash detection I guess.

Yes, I can’t reproduce this error either.

What device are you using to control your flights? I use an Xbox Series X and frequently fly your listed aircraft without the symptom you’re describing.

I use a TB Flight Stick.

Hi. I am using the Xbox Series X controller.

I apologize for delayed response. Unfortunately, this issue is still happening to me. I was really hoping someone else was having this same exact issue. I have found a temporary workaround with some of the propeller planes. Just restart the flight and the glitch goes away but the Cessna Longitude and Citation jets are a no-go. The other issue I have is F/A-18 not steering when I try to taxi and that’s well known and documented on these forums.

Sounds like the gear is retracting or something. As others have mentioned, try turning off crash detection (if it’s on) and see if it solved.

Also, just to clarify, so you’re sat on the ground, start the engines and bang flight ends?

Yes, exactly.
