Cessna 152 banking left also in the air

High all,

I have questions regarding banking of cessna 152 aeroplan to the left also in the air?
Is this normal? I am not a real pilot so do not know what is correct and what not.

I have checked calibration of my Trustmaster Airbus stick and it is normal. I have also set weather to clear sky because of the wind. So why do I get this constant banking to the left.

Propeller torque or maybe uneven fuel burn if you are not switching tanks?
I have not used the 152 in a long time I should add.

There are forces acting on the aircraft because of the propeller that spins and the wind that is generated by it and sent toward the back of the aircraft, so that the plane tends to turn to the left : Technique - Left Turning Tendencies - AOPA

However, engineers have do some adjustments on the aircraft surfaces to compensate these effects while flying in the air; the aircraft is not perfectly symmetrical even if it appears so.

In your case, if your Trustmaster is calibrated properly, I wonder if it might be only the wind pushing your aircraft to the left (not the one generated by the propeller; wind aloft)…

If it ever happens again, do a 180 degrees turn and see if it still banks to the left…

No. (steady) wind has absolutely no effect on an aircraft in the air.

@ditive123 That’s normal. You have to apply a bit of right rudder to avoid the left turning tendency IRL and in the sim.
In MSFS this effect is also reduced if you are adding a copilot with the same weight.

Hello all, I’m New to this forum.
I have had msfs 2020 for about a week now and going through the flight training tutorials with the cessna 152.
I have the same condition except my aircraft always tends to roll and turn slightly to the right both on take off and landing.
I don’t know if this is real life conditions due to torque of the engine or a quirk of my Saitek X52 joystick.
I can’t seem to trim it out either.
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
