Cessna 172 (Classic) - Electrical Systems Not Functioning

If you’re asking me, yes, I am 100% positive. I have more time flying the steam gauge 172 than any other plane, hundreds of hours. The 530 and clock were working as were the transponder and AP. I didn’t try Nav mode, but Roll and Hdg worked, as did Alt and VS.

Unfortunately I didn’t get any pics. But I’ll be flying again this afternoon and I’ll try to get some or maybe a short video. Assuming it’s still working…

I have seen items that work one flight and then not the next and vice versa. At one point, about half the keys on my keyboard stopped responding, even with the onscreen keyboard. It took a full restart of the console to get it working again.

Here’s the C172 classic working on my Xbox. The lights work too, but you can hardly tell during the daytime.

Nice, your lucky on Xbox. On PC it does’nt work😒 I tried also with different joystick (x55) someone told it’s the Honeycomb Alpha what was the trouble. Not!

Did you try clearing rolling cache?

The Controls for FS2024 are very confusing, because they are specific for each plane.
you may configure all your different peripherals, but if you change your aircraft, or even a different configuration of the same aircraft, you can lose those settings.

This is one of the most frustrating things ot this sim. Just make sure when you program all your peripherals for one aircraft, make sure you select each peripheral on the left, then scroll down and ’ make default’, and click ’ set for all aircraft’.

Do this for each peripheral, at least for those general settings you prefer to be the same on each aircraft.

I just cleared mine by deleting everything in the rolling cache folder. No luck unfortunately.

Same issue. I even tried the “Repair and Refuel” function. Still no battery.

Note the water rudder lever being frozen as well.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

I have the same issue
If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Oh well, you’re all lucky enough to even have a C172 classic available. I bought the Premium version just for that plane and it is not available in the game. I simply don’t have it. This is ridiculous.

Did you check in the aircraft configuration. It is not a stand alone aircraft like in 2020. You have to go into the 172 and it is listed in there as a config, not a separate plane.

Do you have the 172? If you do the classic is just an available configuration of the 172.

• I have the same issue with Cessna C172 skyhawk basic. No start with key or control +E. C172 glass cockpit version is working.

My beloved C172 classic on floats is even there

Same issue here on the gauge C172 ( not the G1000 but other bug there):

The fuel pump is not working, no fuel glow at prime, do can’t start up the engine .
Also, the avionic switched won’t move ( while mapped in the command settings) and the gns530 won’t start as well as any other instrument.

Also, the barometer adjustment is not working as well ( both C172 and 152).

In the G1000, the electric systems work and possible to start up but:
Fuel pump switch not functioning ( mouse yes)
No sound

Can confirm same exact issues.
