Cessna 172 engine system failure on cold start

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Cold and dark start in EBLG GA Parking.
Small Icing in real weather.

All the time, engine stop working on ground after 2-3 minutes.
Fuel is full, perfect startup procedure.
Did other starts with 152 and DR400, no problem.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

Cessna 172 (any version)

Tested and yes

Hello :slight_smile:

It would help a lot, I think, if you were able to state, through timing, that the motor always cuts off after the very same time.

A small list of question & checks :slight_smile:

  • After the motor shuts down, are you able to restart it without restarting the sim ?
  • Have your tried to keep a bit of power with the throttle, after start, to prevent motor from stalling ?
  • Have you encountered the error somewhere else (alaska, UK, iceland) ? Do you feel like EBLG or the region is involved ?
  • Appart from your possibles mods (which you’ve stated you removed), have you tried to unplug your joystick and throttles, to see if you did not have a failure there ?

Yes of course, perfect procedure made :wink:

Hi, will do some other tests of course but for now,
1 : i can’t restart the engine after stalling it.
2: Tested with some throttles but still stalling
Will do some more tests but icing could be a point imho.
