Brief description of the issue:
When I start a new flight in the C-172 (G-1000), the engine is running. I click Ready to Fly and I am on the runway. Then after a few seconds, the engine begins to lose power and dies.

Hard to tell from mobile, but if I see that right the OAT was 40C, you’re going to need to crack the throttle more to keep it idling at 1000 RPM or higher.
Same thing happens. I shut it all the way down, turn off avionics and battery master to OFF. I turn the key to OFF. Then turn everything back on and same thing happens. Engine quits after a few seconds.
Seems to be vapour locking, which is something that can occur above 28C, whether it’s coded that way or just convenient side effect of how the code fuel flow with temperature is a different question.
i’ve seen the same thing in the sim for the 172. i’ve had it happen with the temp as low as 32C IIRC.
confused the heck out of me the first time it happend until i read about vapor lock.
I had the same problem before and it turned out to be because I have more than one throttle controller, I have the Bravo throttle quadrant and an x-52 HOTAS and they were conflicting. I now disable or unplug my HOTAS when using the Bravo.
Is it possible you have more than 1 throttle controller?
