The sound on exterior view is fine. The sound in interior is very low. Flying in career mode, cargo. On xbox series x.
Having never flown a real 172 I wouldn’t know but the sound is just about right for me. Any louder would be annoying, especially on long flights. It’s only a game for entertainment. It doesn’t need to be RL accurate.

You are lucky to just use a quiet sim! I have 1500h in Cessnas and tinnitus in my left ear. This is an occupational hazard of pilots. It is usually the L ear next to the window hissssssss.
I wore David Clarks but when you also wear sunglasses that breaks the sound sheild…

Is that started with SU1 or did you experience the same with the Live version ?
Both C172 G1000 and C172 Classic ?
Make sure Headphone Simulation isn’t checked in the Sound settings. This makes everything quieter like you’re wearing a headset.
I went for quite awhile in Career Mode before I found that and disabled it, assuming it was just the sim misbehaving because the audio would randomly cut out or was just missing entirely during the Tech Alpha preview.

It started after updating to beta version. On normal version it was fine.
Headphone simulation did the ttick. Thanks.

Moved to User Support Hub since not SU1 related and issue has been fixed.
