Brief description of the issue:

When trying to taxi the Cessna 172, if I bring the power up to about 1700RPM while on the taxiway, without any reason the nose drifts to the left even though I’m applying rudder to the right (or no rudder at all). I am using a Logitech Yoke/Rudder system and did not have this issue previous to Update 10.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Taxiway in a C172, bring power up to around 1700RPM to barely start rolling. Notice the plane veers to the left for no reason even when nose wheel is straight.

Same gear, same effect. I usually taxi at 800-1100rpms - when taxiing even on light crosswind condition (it seems that elevation profile has also some influence) I need to apply almost full opposite rudder or taxi really slow. I have never experienced this before SU10. Taxiing downwind/upwind requires less rudder (although more than before SU10).

I have just flown a few hops with C152 and it seems to behave similar. Taxiing at 4-5kts crosswind requires a lot of rudder. Landing seems normal - I guess veering into the wind happens when the plane stops flying and starts rolling.

Strangely enough, I was facing into the wind both times this happened. It didn’t seem to matter at all though.

I have seen a few posts about the similar problem and it sounds reasonable for me, that these are problems with tires ground friction and/or wind gusts.

I’ve noticed on the airliners that, as soon as you get some airspeed, the airplane appears to roll towards the other side from where the wind is coming from. I had a 10 kt crosswind from the left and the airplane rolled itself slightly to the right. This happend with the Dreamliner, and the addons 146 and 737…

My Guess is, that the cutting down of groundeffect by 50% might have something to do with other aerodynamics present in the sim… they might have even cut 50% from one wing, and not from both…

i’ve not tested the 152 yet though, so cannot confirm your suspisions… just give you my 2cts.
