Cessna 182T?

Has this plane been removed from market plane, I’m not finding it.

I can’t log into the game and check just now, but if it has, it’s available directly from Carenado.

Hi there, Yes it is there in the MarketPlace…Just type 182 in the search in the MarketPlace…

Now they need to release a 182 Turbo RG version. I used to rent one pretty often. Nice airplane if you don’t need the extra space of a 210.

At least you missed the first three years when it kinda sucked. It’s quite a nice plane now.

I would buy it if they just transplanted the steam gauge interior from their 182RG.

My first flight was in a steam gauge 182 so I’d like to have on in my hangar just for the sentimental value. With the G1000, it’s not different enough from the default Asobo 172 for me to spend on it.

I think it’s nicer. It’s much more powerful, longer range, etc. I’m glad not everything has to be Steam. I do tend to prefer it myself, but not always.

I kind of hate the glass 172 for some reason, probably because that’s a lot of avionics for it’s envelope. Love the steam one. The 182 with it’s updates isn’t a bad way to do what the glass 172 does without the constant feeling you need to scoot your seat back and forth hoping for one more KT in the G172.. 182RG is great, the 207’s ok but it’s almost an annoying wall-o-steam. The new SR22 however is a kingmaker for G1000 single pistons(pretty much just like IRL). Throttle back for 172, throttle forward to pass a Bonanza.

182T is really good for learning the G1000 with stress free flying and just fast enough to go somewhere. The view with your head in the wing, however is correct, spent a lot of time messing with it. Cessna did just keep taking a 1950’s plane and kept adding a bigger and bigger cowl and panel after all.

You have of course dump every single Caranado standard view and add a custom view to your ‘reset’. You’re always 18" too far forward and looking down 15 degrees for some reason in their aircraft. Dump all their standard views, you aren’t landing where you think you are with them. Change reset cockpit view to custom camera 1. Go to 4000’ and get dead level, set your view looking to what you see as natural horizon and the cockpit looks ‘scale’ as control-alt-1. In default view you can see 1 mile ahead to the ground at 6K’. Add subsequent handy views 2/3/4 etc and asign next/previous custom views to them if you have the buttons. It’s my personal peeve with all their aircraft. In the 140 it’s like you’re a garden gnome in someone’s lap. The snap left/right is fine though and gets you ‘under’ the wing like you’d crouch if you were there.

I own this plane. It’s there.
