Cessna Citation CJ4 throttles

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Using the throttle increase or decrease on the Xbox controller, the throttles don’t move in sync, say when throttling down from Climb to Cruise, engine 2 will be way down into cruise while the engine 1 can still be in Climb, there can be as much as 15% difference in throttle positions, can be the same when increasing throttle

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:Cessna Citation CJ4

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every flight

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1.take off and climb
2.reduce throttle from climb to cruise
3.observe one engine in cruise the other still in climb, substantial difference between the engines sometimes

YOUR SETTINGS

If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.

What peripherals are you using, if relevant: Xbox controller

MEDIA

Please add a screenshot or video of the issue occurring.

• yes I have the same issue after the new update along with many more

• pretty spot on, but I noticed mine right before taking off the runway

Yes, the problem occurs every time I fly with the Cessna CJ4

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
This problem started since the last update

I hadn’t flown the CJ4 for a few days and yesterday the exact same thing happened to me: when I increase or decrease thrust, the engines do so at different intensities.

This issue also occurs for me after I updated to the BETA 3 patch (however i cannot tell when the issue was first introduced). This occurs on PC with a Xbox controller, a keyboard, a mouse or winwing airbuss stick. Regardless of what keybinds i used or what settings i use, the Left Engine throttle always moves smoother and slower compared to the Right one, which has a more choppy and faster movement. This issue can also be seed when using the “Throttle Previous/Next Detent”. By the looks of it the throttle itsef is broken and not the keybinds or the peripheral in use

Thank you for the bug report.

We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.

Yes CJ4 has throttle issues one engine moves smooth while the other lags while increasing or decreasing throttle causing both engines to be out of sync

The same thing for me.

The problem is that when you increase the throttle (doesn’t matter whether by keyboard or Xbox controller), it moves the throttle asynchronously for the left and right engines. The left engine is lagging and moves more slowly.

This bug works when you stand on the ground, even with the engines off.
So to reproduce, you need just choose this aircraft, load the flight (Free or Career), and go to the cabin.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• asynchronous throttle movement (PC w/ Controller) after increase/decrease

• full/ cut throttle detents result in synchronous settings

This seems to be fixed in SU3 beta now.

I retract this statement. It’s still not fixed.

What happens is that when tapping the throttle increase/decrease button, both throttles are incremented symmetrically and they stay in “sync”. When you hold down the button, the right throttle moves much than the left and you get asymmetric thrust.
