Several months ago I downloaded the Working Title G3000 to use with the Cessna Citation Longitude and the TBM. I love it. It makes it easy for me to create flight plans. Recently, it seems to have “disappeared” from the Longitude, but not from the TBM. I have deleted it from the community folder and reinstalled it but no luck. I have attached a picture of the Longitude and the TBM. You can see the difference.
Once in flight on the Longitude, do you get a Flight Path Marker/Velocity Vector on the PFD?
That’s one way to tell.
If it’s installed correctly in the Community folder, it should show up for both planes.
You realize you aren’t on the same screen.
One (top photo) shows MFD Home, and the bottom shows PFD Home
The G3000 is loading fine on your longitude. The buttons you are looking for from your referenced TBM picture can be found on the GTC panel on the left side of the pilot seat.
Maybe I never had this on the Longitude before but I remember where I click on a soft button and can switch from MFD to PFD. I highlighted both pictures to show you what I mean. (I am 81 so a bit slow in my thinking)
I do realize that and thats exactly the problem. On the Longitude I can no longer switch between the MFD and PFD when I could do that before
I’d strongly encourage you to turn your camera to your left for PFD controls and you will find the buttons you are looking for.
The longitude has two additional control panels (GTC) – one at each pilots seat – to accommodate the PFD controls. Remember, the longitude is technically a G5000 system using the G3000 code, so it does not function entirely the same as it does in the TBM.
Sounds to me like you’ve spent some time in the TBM and just need to refamiliarize yourself with the differences in the Longitude.
The PFD controller is to your left and below, on a dedicated Touch Panel. The center is for the MFD only now. This is true only on the Longitude.
I’m not sure that the ability to control the PFD from the center touch screens ever existed in the Longitude, but idk – I briefly reverted to stock for shiggles and the ability isn’t there, either. No point for it, with the two GTC panels.
Anyway, the below image is taken with WT G3000 installed and shows you the GTC we are referring to where you control the PFD in the Longitude.
