Cessna Longitude over performs

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?

No

Brief description of the issue:

Cessna Longitude can fly at FL570 with N1 at 69% at that altitude once stabilized. It has incredible climb rates even beyond the stated service ceiling.!

Selecting the FLC mode makes the plane climb like a rocket.

This is real world performance for the Longitude. Check out the Longitude mod if you want more realistic behavior.

I must admit that I think the FLC algorithm implementation for the Longitude isn’t quite right - probably to do with lack of FADEC?.. if you switch FLC on with autothrottle engaged the engines will throttle up all the way to full power to maintain the steepest climb angle possible. I doubt it happens that way on a real aircraft with FADEC. I normally climb the Longitude using VS and throttle set at reasonable climb power to work around this. I’m no pilot but the Longitude flight model doesn’t feel right to me - stall speed warnings come in at too high a speed on final approach, as others say here, the high altitude climb performance seems way too good - so I think there could be some big improvements to the fiight model - the flight dynamics mod seems to work very well and fixes some of the major issues with the flight model but isn’t available for Xbox users who will have to deal with a very challenging aircraft to fly properly (currently) - I’d would be very interested to hear real pilot comment on the current Longitude flight model

This doesn’t make sense. This is real world performance; get the mod if you want realistic behavior?

I mean that the engine is capable of performance like that. But the default Asobo autopilot doesn’t necessarily fly the plane right. The Longitude mod has tweaked several performance numbers so FLC is more realistic and put in an N1 limiter (as I recall) above a certain altitude. I would recommend you read more on the Longitude mod thread for more information.
