CFD continue to appear even after being disabled in MSFS 2024

Even after disabling CFD’s from the Settings menu, they sometimes work their way back into the game. Is anyone else experiencing this annoyance?

Same here. Sometimes is enables it self, and when turn off in setings, Still showing in game.

You can disable it by unchecking “Show 3D thermal” in the weather window.

3Dthermal option is different than the CFD one. Disabling it does not disable CFD.

Me too. CFD turned off in Settings->General->Flight Interface->Aerodynamic Visualization (CFD). Sim reenables it at will whenever it feels like it. Could this me AI at work?

i use to have the same issue , then i found out there is a key bind on the keyboard for CFD so i was hitting on without noticing . i deleted the bind . now i have not had this issue in a while

You can also disable it from the cockpit through the Weather tab by unchecking “Show 3D Thermal.”

Thermal visualisation turning on randomly. Absolutely infuriating!
Solutions tried:

I have bound a key to toggle it on or off
Turned it off in the weather settings menue (it was not turned on in the first place).

Does somebody find a solution, other than not playing the game? Like altering a file the user.cfg or in the aircraft settings?
