I need to try to change the UDP port to 4000, can anybody provide instructions as to how to do this? The reason is that I use iFly GPS as my real world GPS app. It worked great with no fuss on XP11, but I cannot get it to connect with MSFS2020, so I asked their developer, who offered this:
"I’ve figured it out and it’s working fine. Yep XP11 works great on its port of 49002. Same port as MSFS2020 which does not work. So after some checks on what you supported and then looking up those products I zeroed in on the Stratus/Flightbox selection for GPS signal. Looked that up and found it used port 4000. So in x-conn that is running for MSFS2020 I changed the port from 49002 that XP uses to the 4000 that the Stratus/Flightbox uses and it connected instantly. I’ve been flying for about an hour now with no issues at all… "
The only problem is: I am completely stupid and cannot find a way to make this change. If anybody could provide step-by-step instructions I would be eternally grateful.
Thanks !
