Changing 2D graphical settings affects the Mirror on desktop when running VR

This should already be known by the Devs… but just in case it is not, as the title suggests the 2D image on the monitor is affected by changing the 2D graphical settings.

This should NOT happen and could be affecting the Sim in various ways, ala the 200% Rendering Issue for example.

The Mirror image on the monitor is supposed to be just that, a Mirror of the VR Output (usually the Left Eye by default if a single image). So changing any 2D settings should not affect this Mirror image, but alas it does.

I’m aware that Asobo are looking to improve VR later in the year (as per a recent Q&A), so i hope they already know about this issue but posting just in case!

I am seeing similar things on my system.

To get the windows from the VR toolbar fonts to look correctly I have to set the PC display settings to full screen. Then the resolution of PC full screen controls the size of the fonts of the airport and aircraft tags while in VR.

If we have separate settings for PC and VR I sure do not understand why all the interaction.
