Charter Service - VIP introduction mission is missing

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

A few days ago I saw Charter Service - VIP mission on the map, but it was not available at that time since not all prerequisites were completed. If I remember correctly it was a flight from LAX to SFO. Now that the specialization is unlocked the mission is not there anymore.

Since the introduction mission is not completed, there is no way to progress forward and get these type of missions unlocked on the map.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

No add-ons installed.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Progress in the career to unlock Charter Service - VIP specialization
  2. Once unlocked, open Missions map
  3. Note the mission is not highlighted and among all large yellow icons there is now such mission.

If you mean the first charter service mission, thats in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, very easy to miss

@baronLeo this one is for “Charter Service - Private” specialization. “Charter Service - VIP” is the next step, unlocks after level 45, instrument rating, turboprop engine rating and 10 private charter missions with B or above.

The flight from SFO to LAX is flown with a 737 max BBJ.
Make sure that you got the ATP Jet license for this.

After unlocking everything for the VIP charters, I didnt get any new mission type. That was because I didnt have the ATP jet license.

Same issue. After finishing the specialization its showing yellow dot that new mission available but the mission does no exist.

This worked! After obtaining ATP license the mission appeared.

It was strange that it disappeared at some point and there was no obvious requirement to get it back. Other specialization missions are alway on the map.

Moved to User Support Hub User Interface & Activities since a solution has been marked.

Did you also have to unlock the passenger transport specialization?
I have unlocked the VIP charter specialization and have jet airline certification but no mission shows on SFO.

I havent even got ATP Jet airline license. The mission isnt even visible to me.

Did ATP Jet license, mission appeared. I tried it, MSFS crashed. I tried to restart it and received error “306-400-00202”, tried to restart sim several times. Same error. After PC restart mission is missing completely.

Huh. Maybe something similar happened to my mission. I never got the popup when you go to the map that the specialization was unlocked but I have a persisting gold corner in the main menu for career for charter VIP.

this isnt the solution because you cant use the cj4 which is specifically for the vip charter missions which you obtain the speciality for by completing private charter missions

This is not the solution! I did ATP rating and no mission is appearing.

We need to restart career from start? Or what?

It didn’t seem to work after all. Even though there was a Charter Service - VIP mission from SFO - LAX on Boeing 737 Max, it didn’t unlock these type of missions after I completed it. I can only see Charter Service - Private missions on my map.

This mission appeared as a pop-up after unlocking the ATP certification but it was different from all the other specialization item as the icon on this was a star and not a specialization icon. Similar to “Scientific Research” missions.

So I believe the problem still exists and the mission is missing.

• I have all certifications completed and Charter Service - VIP specialization unlocked. No initial “gold mission” appears but I have a gold triangle on the corner of specializations like I have just unlocked a new specialization and a gold mission is waiting to be completed .

I too had this problem of the Charter - VIP introductory mission not spawning despite unlocking the specialisation.

Ive just got it to spawn now. It seems that in addition to Charter VIP specialisation you must also complete the Passenger Transport - Airline specialisation and gold intoduction mission in Korea. Once you have completed this mission then the VIP Charter mission unlocks on the map.
