I wonder if we’ll ever get simulated dust storms to avoid? That would be great.

Yes, I should have wrapped that in quotes shouldn’t I. 
Reduced visibility, sand intake into the engine(s). It would be another hazard to deal with.
There is an excellent James Stewart film called “Flight of the Phoenix” about a cargo plane that gets knocked down by a sandstorm it can’t get out of and how the passengers build another aircraft from the parts to get them out of the desert.
The original with Stewart is way better than the remake with Dennis Quaid (IMO).

I believe SoFly’s Weather Preset Pro has sandstorms… I own the product, but I don’t really play with presets, so I haven’t tried.
