Checkered Graphical Glitches

I just started getting this strange, frustrating graphical glitch where the top 5th of my monitor erupts in a glitchy checkered pattern anytime the camera is panned in any direction. All while I’m getting a smooth 60fps.

Has this happened to anyone else and know how to fix it or what’s causing it? It’s really frusterating

Long story short: if you have an nvidia gpu downgrade your driver to 466.77 and it should be fixed

Shoot. It just happened to me again. I’ve been flying MSFS since day 1 and never have I had anything like this happen until yesterday and now again today.

I updated my driver a while back and everything’s been fine so that’s not it. I’ve had multiple flights in between the incidents just fine. But now it happened again just a day later.

It’s very worrying

You have to downdate, not update. I had that issue after SU5 almost every flight (in my case only during sunset/sunrise) , so i installed 466.77 and never had it since.

disable GPU hardware acceleration in windows and its fixed , had it too

actual drive, hags on.
No problem since >30h

Honestly it’s the driver. You need the 466.77. Nothing else makes a difference, it’s the only way you can guarantee you won’t get it.

Of course this is not a solution, it’s a work around. We shouldn’t have to be running ancient drivers to not get artifacts.
