Nice DO THIS FOR EVERY GA PLANE PLEASEEEE. U will get all my money Carenado Asobo and Microsoft should learn from this company this is owsome i will buy this asap and future ones for ga planes. Thanks for this. u should change the title to something more direct because there is a lot of people out there who would get this asap because it is ridiculous to have to go and read from a pdf when they can do just this
This is a must have checklist if you bought the Carenado C182. Better than standard lists that come with MSFS2020. Excellent install instructions. Mine converted to $1.70 at the time I purchased it. Worth at least triple that.
would be great if Asobo will release for all, not for GA’s only, a complete set of checklists with one of the next upcoming updates. The checklists are very useful for the airliners too. Due to the fact, that checklists are available as pdf for all kind of aircrafts, it shouldn’t be any problem to implement them as interactive lists by Asobo. Would be really great.
Oh, my mistake, I misread your post… “it will be THE next released” not in the next release of this product. Nice, please keep us posted when it gets released, it’s easy to lose track of things because of the sheer volume of messages in these forums.
If the checklist does not appear after todays patch update, just restart MSFS, seems the Community folder is ignored after the patch until the next restart.
Waooo i just bought the carenado plane because of this checklist and waooooo amazingggg great job man will be buying all of your checklist if u can can u please add a tab with some performance infos with weight temp distances .Great Work
I am completely new to msfs world. I have the 182 working but have no idea how to load the check sheet after I download it. My apologies for being a dummy. I love the 182.
Have you placed the fsh-checklist-ct182-skylane-g1000 folder into your MSFS/Community folder?
If so the checklist is opened from the quick menu at the top of the screen once the aircraft is loaded.
Installation
Unzip and copy fsh-checklist-ct182t-skylane-g1000 folder to your Microsoft Flight Simulator community folder. Overwrite any existing folders and files if you are installing a later version.
Default examples:
Windows Store users:
C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\ Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
STEAM users:
C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
I’m coming in a little later than previous posts, but I am having no joy getting this to work.
First, I don’t have the path C:\Users\ (myusername)\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightDashboard_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community.
Second, when I unzip the downloaded file, I don’t have a folder starting with fsh. The folder I have
is labeled TK421-checklist-ct182t-skylane-g1000
I fly MSFS 2020 on Steam. Has something changed since this became available?
Further, and as an update, I asked on SoFly website if their Aircraft Checklist Pro included Cessna 182 and was told yes. However, it doesn’t appear in the list when opening Pro in the sim. I purchased it based on the reply given, so now trying to get a refund from Steam. Just wanted to make others aware.
There was a typo in my post, the full path to you FS2020 community folder should be:
C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
It should not matter if the folder within this community folder name starts with FSK or TK421, either should work.
I am not aware of any change made by Carenado to the aircraft that would have an impact, but I have not tested it for a while. I will give it a test over the weekend as well.
Thanks for the reply, John. However that didn’t fix it. In the long list of folders, when I get as far as through “C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.”, there is no “Microsoft.Flightsimulator”; lots of other folders that have the 8wekyb3d8bbwe in the name, but none that have FlightSimulator in front of it.
