Checklist steps and Audio/Voice Checklists?

This may be the dumbest question ever - are checklists supposed to be audible?
I can see the checklist window alright but i need to mouse over the items… I was kind of expecting a virtual copilot reading the checklist for me?

Also, is the cursor on the checklist supposed to follow the actions? (i.e, if you turn on APU, would it go automatically to the next item?)

If you click the select a checklist item, then click “Evaluation” at the bottom, it’ll read the checklist, and focus the camera on the switch/dial/button and announce the expected state once you set it (if required).
