Chinook Heli missions - no prompt, no dialogue, cannot begin mission

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
In any Cargo Hook Transport mission with a Chinook helicopter, there is no mission status indications of any kind, nor is there any dialogue, so the mission does not even begin, and therefore the user is unable to complete the mission.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Boeing CH47D Chinook Helicopter

No mods/add-ons used ever

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time

1. Load cargo hook transport mission with Chinook helicopter
2. Observe no status and no dialogue
3. Exit mission because you cannot even begin it

If you open the in-sim menu, the one that opens with Tab in VR, and select the icon with the concentric circles, that should bring up the mission dialogue, which should really be displayed automatically at mission start.

That should contain instructions on removing chocks, pitot covers etc.

I’m not saying there isn’t a bug, but it might not be as impassable as it will be if you’ve already tried the above.

You know what, i clicked on the ATC window but didn’t think to try the mission one since it’s always there in missions for all other aircraft types! Thanks, I’ll give the Chinook another try!

For whatever reason, in VR the displayed mission tab doesn’t seem to be all that reliable, so I often have to do this to get going.

Good luck and hopefully your initially reported problem will get sorted.
