I tired that, but didn’t have success. Granted, the only frequency I tried was for KSBA’s tower.

I found a workaround when ATC asks to change frequencies and the options disappear, is to put the frequency they give you into other COM, eg. when on COM1 and options disappear, put the frequency manually into COM2, and then switch to COM2. That works for me on free flight flying C172, on handoff between Center/Approach.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

When flying in a Career mission, the ATC panel will occasionally/randomly remove all communication options and even the provided Quick Reply command does nothing to progress the mission.

I have the same issue randomly. ATC choices just disappear. Flying the C172

I use this too if the dropmenu isn’t showing choices, but it should do this offcourse when auto AI voices are selected in the menu.

But the last week or so at my end it seems to get worse. While the sim itself suddenly seems to run smoother
